About This Station
The station is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station. The data is collected every two seconds and the site is updated every 15 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station is comprised of an anemometer, rain gauge, temperature, pressure, humidity and solar radaition sensors situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible. This station was originally established in White City, FL, and provided data for the White City Weather Website. It was moved just north of Wewahitchka, FL, in April 2014.
About This City
Wewahitchka is located in the northern end of Gulf County and is located in the Florida Panhandle. Wewahitchka, known to the locals as "Wewa," is known as the "Home of the Dead Lakes & Tupelo Honey."

The BAPWeather.com website is operated and maintained in memory of Bernard "Bernie" A. Pridgeon, III. Bernie was the founder of the original White City Weather Website. He loved weather and always enjoyed maintaining this site.
